Tyrs Treat Trove LLC

The Trove Cabinet Catalog

Services for a stocked, keyed cabinet

Tyrs Treat Trove LLC books the trove cabinet in six windows. Each window is a reserved slot in the trove room at Huntington - 84528, United States (US), and each ends with a paper record you can file. Read the six below in order if you are new, because they follow the natural life of a drawer: measure it, fill it, present it, hand it over, taste it and then close the loop.

The six service windows

Prices are quoted per booking after the fitting, because shelf count and wrapper finish move the number more than volume does. Call +18047013712 if you need a rough band before you commit a date.

i.Trove Fitting Desk

The fitting desk is where every engagement starts. You bring the drawer, or a photograph of it with a ruler laid across the back edge if the drawer cannot travel, and we measure depth, width, lid clearance and the height of the first shelf that the lining allows. The desk session runs ninety minutes and covers the questions most hosts do not think to ask: will the lid close on a ribbon, how much weight can the second shelf take, and where the light will hit a wrapper after the room settles.

At the close of the session we draw a cabinet plan on card stock, number every bay and agree the shelf count. You leave with the plan, a key tag naming your booking windows and a short note on which of the other five services fit your date. A fitting is never charged twice, and if you return within a season to extend the plan, the desk picks up from the plan on file rather than starting over.

ii.Candy Curation Rounds

A curation round is the stocking logic behind the shelf. We sort by finish, by wrapper weight, by shelf life and by how the piece reads from three feet away, because a trove is looked at before it is opened. The round runs with you present, either at the tasting shelf or on a call with a shared sheet, and takes about three hours for a six-bay cabinet. Every candidate gets a line: name, finish, size, expected life and a placement note.

The output is a signed curation sheet. It lists what stays for the season, what rotates out at the next booking and what fills the gap when a shelf runs thin. Rounds are the service most clients repeat, usually twice a year, and they are the cheapest way to stop a drawer drifting into a pile of half-finished rows. Bring the sheet to your next fitting and the desk will build the plan around it.

iii.Keepsake Box Weeks

A keepsake box week reserves the trove room for seven working days of assembly. Boxes are lined in velvet, keyed to a guest list and finished with a small brass plate that carries the date and the drawer number. Because the room is closed to other bookings for the week, we can assemble in stages: linings on the first two days, filling in the middle, closing and photography on the last two. Guests who supplied a name spelling get a proof row before the plate is fixed.

Keepsake box weeks suit weddings, milestone anniversaries and studios sending a single large gift round. You receive a closing photograph of the finished stack, a plate register and whatever stock remains from the week, packed flat for the trip home. If a guest list changes after the proof stage, tell the desk before the close day and we will reprint the plate rather than lifting the existing one.

iv.Party Stash Days

A party stash day is one reserved day for filling the tray the room will actually use. We agree shelf labels, bowl heights and refill bag counts in advance, then load the tray so a host can refill without hunting. The day ends with a load plan that maps every bag to its bowl, and a handover where you walk the tray once with the desk so nothing is discovered in front of guests.

This service is deliberately narrower than a keepsake week. It does not include personalised plates and it does not include a tasting; it is about quantity, order and speed of refill. Most hosts pair it with a short curation round the week before so the wrapper mix survives a warm evening. Bulk refill bags travel home sealed and labelled, and the load plan carries the counts you need for a second day.

v.Tasting Shelf Sessions

The tasting shelf is a narrow bench on the west wall with nine places, a water tray and a card rail. A session arranges the cabinet candidates as a ladder that runs from quiet to bright, and we walk the ladder in order rather than sampling at random, because the palate needs a path. Each guest gets a card and a pencil; the cards come back to the desk and become notes in your curation sheet.

A standard session runs seventy-five minutes for up to nine people, and a quiet session can be booked for two so a host can test a full shelf without a room around them. We do not serve alcohol at the shelf and we ask guests to declare allergies before the first card is turned. The notes belong to the booking holder, and they are the reason a tasting session usually leads straight into a curation round.

vi.Restock Audit Evenings

The audit evening is our closing check, and it exists because every other service assumes the shelf is correct. After the room goes quiet, the desk takes a ledger and a small brass scale and matches shelf count to order count, drawer by drawer, bay by bay. Anything that drifted is flagged with a numbered note, and anything that needs replacing is added to the next curation round automatically.

You receive the audit note by email within one working day, in plain numbered form, ready to file beside your cabinet plan. An audit is short, usually ninety minutes, and it can be added to any booking for a small fee. Hosts who audit after every keepsake week rarely need a full restock, because the note catches the gap while it is still one bag wide. Ask the desk to place your drawer on the next audit shelf.

How a booking runs end to end

The six services are meant to be used together, but the order matters. This is the sequence we recommend for a first booking, and the sequence the desk will propose if you arrive without a plan.

  1. Enquiry and desk call Send the contact form or call +18047013712. The desk replies with two fitting windows and a short list of what to bring: drawer measurements if you have them, a date, and any names that will be printed.
  2. Trove Fitting Desk The ninety-minute measurement and plan session. This is the only service that is required before the others, because every later window is scheduled against the plan it produces.
  3. Candy curation or tasting Choose a curation round for a working shelf, a tasting session for a social one, or both where the shelf will be seen before it is used. Both produce notes that feed the stocking run.
  4. Production window A keepsake box week or a party stash day, booked against the plan. The room is reserved for your window and the shelves are stocked before the first box is lined.
  5. Audit and handover A restock audit evening closes the loop, the numbered note is sent, and the key tag is updated with the count and the date of the last pass.

Choose a window and open the lid

Tell us the service that fits your date and we will hold two fitting windows while you decide. The trove room is at Huntington - 84528, United States (US), and the desk answers email at bookings@tyrstreattrove.mom as well as the phone line.

Choosing between the two production windows

The most common question at the desk is whether a host should book a keepsake box week or a party stash day. The answer depends on who touches the drawer after the booking closes, and on how much personalisation the date needs.

Book a keepsake box week when

The pieces leave the room as gifts, carry a printed name or a date, and need a proof stage before a plate is fixed. A keepsake week is also the better fit when the stack will be photographed, because the room stays clear for the full seven days and the closing photograph is taken with a consistent shelf in the background.

Book a party stash day when

The tray stays in one place, is refilled by the host, and needs a load plan more than a plate. A stash day is shorter, cheaper and easily repeated, which makes it the better choice for a series of evenings in the same month. If the tray will be seen before guests arrive, pair the day with a short curation round so the wrapper mix holds its row under room light.

Where the tasting shelf fits

Neither production window includes a tasting, and a tasting does not produce stock. The shelf session is a decision aid. Use it when the guest list has strong opinions and you want the notes on record before the curation sheet is signed. If the date is close and the shelf is already planned, skip the tasting and put the time and the fee into the audit instead.

Whatever you choose, the desk will write the decision on your plan so the next booking starts from a stated position rather than a memory. Call +18047013712 with the date in hand and the desk can tell you, in one conversation, which of the two windows still has room in that month.
